I am a final year PhD student at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, set to graduate by the end of 2025. I am part of the INTERACT project funded by the European Research Council (ERC). I conduct research in Natural Language Processing under the supervision of Ariadna Quattoni and the co-supervision of Xavier Carreras. Previously I obtained a master in Computer Engineering at the Università degli Studi di Padova with thesis advisor Giorgio Satta. If you want to contact me, feel free to send me an email or reach out on the linked social media platforms.
I am enthusiastic about the recent advances in Machine Learning and AI and strive to contribute to the developement of this thriving field. My main area of interest lies in Natural Language Understanding and Semantic Parsing. I am deeply interested in Structured Prediction and have been working with Knowledge Graphs to extract information via Natural Language Interfaces, with a particular focus on improving Generalization and enhancing the Semantic Understanding of models. Language Models are becoming increasingly fascinating as we explore their limits, potentials, and practical applications. I'm excited about what the future holds.
